Breaking News! Keswick announces its second annual Blending Party - Saturday, December 1, 2007

It's that time of year again - time for you to match your wine making skills and palate against those of your fellow wine club members. Come celebrate the second Consensus blending event in our cellar. We will give each team bottles of 2006 vintage Malbec, Touriga, Norton and Petit Verdot. After the wines are tasted individually, you will face the daunting task of blending them in proportions that you think will result in a premium wine. After all the blends are complete we will have lunch, then rate all of the entries in a blind tasting.The highest scoring wine will become our 2006 Consensus. Blending parties are a great way to learn individual  characteristics of different wines and how they interact when they are blended together.
